Choosing a cat litter among all the options in the market could be tiring when you can’t decide what kind of litter you want, there are normal litter, premium litter, silica gel, organic soy, and lots of other options. If you can’t decide, you can go to Kitty Poo Club, which is a very popular subscription-based cat litter. I reviewed and tested Kitty Poo Club on my cats and let me share my honest feedback because there are some things that I did not like. I also compared Kitty Poo Club to another popular solution Pretty Litter.
Quick disclaimer: if you decide to purchase a Kitty Poo Club I would highly appreciate if you use my referral link I use a few times in the review. This helps my website maintain high-quality content, test cat products and provide an honest expert opinion. Also, this is not a sponsored review.
You choose from their five types of cat litter, such as diatomite, silica, fine-grain silica, clay, or organic soy. Every option has its own features and you can choose the one that fits the best for you. The subscription for some services differ from other brands like the free shipping, one bag of the option you choose, a recyclable litter box for your cat, and a 3-week guarantee, in case you are not satisfied with your subscription.
I, myself, wanted to try and test the Kitty Poo Club so I purchased one and tested it with my cat, and here’s what I observed. I picked diatomite one .
So, I tried it for a month with my cat. It comes with the biodegradable litter box itself, then inside are two sliders to attach on the edge of the box and a bag of fine grained silica litter. They have other kinds of litter as well but I just chose this one for my liking. If you have two cats though, you might need another litter box for the other one.
The type of diatomite I chose, by the way, is my favorite because it’s easy to scoop and clean.
My cat just easily warmed up to the litter box and the litter, I’m guessing it’s because of the fine texture of the litter that can be very comfortable to the touch.
What I liked about the Kitty Poo Club is its impeccable odor control feature so it never smelled like cat urine or feces in our house. Highly recommended, in my opinion.
Quick Summary Of Kitty Poo Club

Kitty Poo Club is a subscription-based cat litter where you can choose from 5 options.
Every month they will deliver the cat litter, a cat litter box, and any other additional stuff you may have bought. The options go from diatomite, silica, fine-grain silica, clay, to organic soy and each of them has different features; for example, some are dust-free, others require less tracking, another one traps better the odor, or while others are easy to scoop up.
To decide which of the five alternatives fits you better, you can compare them on their website and look at the characteristics of each option. The other thing they provide you is the litter box; it is built with recyclable products and they give you one box monthly, therefore, at the end of the month, you can just throw the box with the litter and receive a new one. Nevertheless, setting it up and throwing it away requires specific steps so you’ll know how to assemble and dispose of it properly.
The Kitty Poo Club box is waterproof so that it guarantees that your cat’s pee will not get through the floor. It was my main concern, but the materials are so high quality.
General Kitty Poo Club Review
The Kitty Poo Club is one of the best of its kind out there. It is a subscription-based service but for cat litter and cat litter boxes. This company, or shall we call it this Club, dedicates its services for cats and anything related to cats.

Consumer Reviews Of Kitty Poo Club
This product helps me in so many ways. No more scrubbing the box. Scoop all month then toss it. The only prob is my kitty is a Maine Coon, and barely fits in the box. A bit bigger would be nice.
I enjoy the convenience of having a fresh litter box delivered each month. The box holds up very well and does not leak. My kitty has used the granules and the clay without any issues. Very good product at a good price!
This is the first time I can’t smell the cat box. I’ve even tried the wood pellets, ummm barn smell. Love this stuff!
Is The Cost For The Kitty Poo Club Fair?
The litter and the box make it super easy to clean everything since it does not have too much tracking (depending on the option you choose). They can provide the litter box for you, just in case you don’t have one or you don’t want to clean plastic litter boxes, and it’s very easy to clean and scoop up. Aside from that, it helps you to trap these odors and exempts you from lifting heavy bags of cat litter, in case you have back problems. So if you want to be comfortable about taking care of your cat’s poop, it is worth the price.

The club doesn’t charge a membership fee to join. Direct sign-up is available, with monthly subscriptions starting at $25.99. A new box and a bag of your preferred litter are included in the subscription. Not to mention the peace of mind it will bring you and the free shipping. How big is the Kitty Poo Club litter box?
The 19x15x10-inch Kitty Poo Club Standard Litter Boxes are spacious enough for cats weighing up to 20 pounds. They additionally provide an XL Litter Box, which measures 22x18x10 inches, for larger cats (20 pounds or more). I ordered XL one for my cat, and it was a perfect size.
The height rises to 15 inches if you order one of their domes to go with either size box. The high side walls give your cat privacy and keep what belongs in the box there!
How to cancel your Kitty Poo Club subscription?
You can send an email to support@kittypooclub.com to end your Kitty Poo Club subscription. Send the email as soon as possible to avoid having your credit card or PayPal account charged for the next order. The company will handle the cancellation right away.
If you ever change your mind, you can easily reactivate your membership through your account. Sending them an email to reinstate your membership is also possible. If you’re dissatisfied with your order, you can return a single box within the first two weeks of your initial order.
How often do I need to change Kitty Poo Club?
It’s advised to buy one litter box for each cat because they each have a one-month lifespan. Although new boxes typically arrive every four weeks, you can also change the delivery schedule using your online account. I’d recommend changing every 2.5 weeks though.
Does Kitty Poo Club ship to Canada and internationally
It seems like Kitty Poo Club does not ship to Canada and other countries outside the U.S. When picking shipping there are no options to choose the country and you can only choose a state.
Which is better Pretty Litter or Kitty Poo Club?
I definitely prefer Kitty Poo Club over Pretty Litter because it has better odor control, less mess, it’s disposable and you can select your litter type.
The utmost convenience of never having to clean out dirty cat litter and always having a new one each month is what you get for your money with Kitty Poo Club. They also appear more adorable than a typical litter box.
On the other hand, you pay for the peace of mind that comes with Pretty Litter knowing that you’ll be informed of any early indications of infections in your cat.
How long does Kitty Poo Club take to ship?
The delivery of Kitty Poo Club usually takes 7 to 11 business days. Orders are shipped Monday through Friday via FedEx Ground Economy. The packages can be sent to USPS for final delivery, or FedEx can deliver them directly.
Is Kitty Poo Club flushable?
The organic soy litter can be flushed, but clay and diatomite litter should never be.
Different experts have different views on whether flushing cat waste through public water systems is safe for the environment. A septic system should not be used to flush cat waste because it lacks the necessary chemical balance.
We suggest exercising your own judgment when it comes to disposing of cat litter.
Is Kitty Poo Club eco-friendly?
The entire litter box for the Kitty Poo Club is constructed from recyclable materials. This includes 11% recycled plastic and 89% recycled cardboard. Natural, eco-friendly materials were used to create the Kitty Poo Club. Compared to plastic litter boxes, which are frequently used only to end up in landfills, it is a more environmentally friendly choice.
