Ever since the world’s first cat café opened its doors in Taipei, Taiwan in 1998 the concept of themed cat café has spread all throughout the world like wildfire and the fad is still catching on and is still spreading.

But not all cities are built alike and not all of them are as cat-friendly as another. We have analyzed over 200 US cities and calculated the number of cat cafes. Here are the top 10 cities with the most number of cat cafés in the US. Perfect cities for cat lovers.

Mind you they are not arranged in any particular order, and we are not focused mainly on the actual numbers, but also the quality, and supporting details like cat vets, cat clinics, cat hotels, cat-friendly rentals and other cat-related services.
